Why middle class become dependent on government. Middle class where small business owners and independent professionals. This changed as acquiring credentials gave educated people upward mobility into middle class. US state is a major power of income distribution. Directly some middle class depend on their earnings from government. Indirectly people depend on the companies that supply government.
