Hi Brian,

yes I follow (not always post) on many SI Mining sites, just click on my profile.

To answer your question about winning in Mining stocks I have to say I have done very well in Mining stocks, they were primarily all established operating companies (T.N, T.CCO, T.CLT, T.TEK.B, T.AL, and a few others) I also made a significant amount with DFR which was my first entry into Jr exploration companies, also DMM.B.

I have subsequently invested in V.NDE (Base Metals), V.IRL (Gold/Diamonds), A.SGF (Diamonds) and T.ANZ (Gold) and all were doing fine until we started with Cartaway, Timbuktu, Bre-x, Golden Rule etc and I wasn't smart enough to get out due to my prior long term hold history. The above companies now represent a significant loss.

I also own some great companies like, BRK.A and KO.

regards, Terence Mitchell
