Are we getting poor? It is not new for me. I was there and I know what it is like. I could afford a flat on the red light district. The neon lights flickered through my window without curtains. On cold nights I'd buy sugar cane brandy for the cops and the whores in the bar on the corner of Timbiras street and Santa Efigenia Street before coming up.
