Larry, thanks so much for that information. It's just the sort of information I'm interested in. I've been reading heaps and learning lots. Having never spent much time in biological things, I'm pig ignorant. But I've got plenty of incentive to learn. At present I'm just in a looking and learning mode. Thinking and wondering. Pondering how's, why's and who. A shame to see the slip in Globalstar's launch - having slipped once, I wasn't really surprised. Seems to be the nature of the beast - space systems really are an adventure. Thanks for your discussions on the satellite world Larry. I guess I'll keep half an eye on it. If you think I didn't know much about satellites, you should see how much I don't know about biology in general and NHL in particular. Thanks too to the many people who have expressed appreciation for my efforts on Qualcomm and Globalstar. I've always enjoyed it and felt I got more out of it than I put in. There are so many people out there with multitudes of expertise and ideas. It is an amazing synergistic world of the Web we have entered. Funnily enough, people who have only ever lurked on Qcom/GSTRF have given me information and ideas on NHL = non-Hodgkins Lymphoma [not the National Hockey League for those stumbling on this post] and if I hadn't bothered with putting the effort into GSTRF/QCOM, they would never have known I existed let alone offered ideas. So a little homily folks, be generous with your time and mind. Contribute. To SI, to those around you and to passersby. You'll make the world and your lives better places for you. Ramsey is right. We are not lying down and dying. Yesterday, Alison and I went for a walk around the waterfront and came across a couple of few day old ducklings, huddled and helpless. Mum and siblings vanished. Maybe separated by road traffic. Tarken has always loved ducklings and got bashed up by a mother duck when he was 7 when he thought he'd catch some of hers. So we took them home and got them all set up. Now they are perky, happy and the family thinks they are great. Tarken was thrilled - named them da and ba, which are two sounds in Chinese - he is fluent in Japanese and learned some Chinese too. They love the bath! Thanks again to those who share our feelings and have posted good wishes, even though some of you haven't written, must away and read! I'll be back. Maurice
