Well, you could do a lot worse than learn how to structure an argument from Krugman. The combination of his professional economic knowledge, his willingness to take controversial positions, and his ability to take complicated matters and write clear and lively sentences, is quite special. You don't have to agree with the arguments; just be aware that's a special skill set. I shouldn't have stepped back to the computer. I was on my way out of the house and couldn't resist checking the market via Thinkorswim. And then, of course, checking here. I'm slapping myself on the wrists as I type.
