His open society is nothing more than Communism/Socialism. He sells the friendly side, not the reality of the practical side to enforcement. Communism and Socialism are failures because it goes directly against human nature. It's like trying to teach a chimpanzee calculus. That isn't going to work and neither is Communism or Socialism. The open society is not equitable adjustment, it's stealing from person A and giving it to person B, without any regards to punishments and rewards for hard work in education and in practice.
