That's pretty unconscionable. What a story.

Thank you Wonk.

I don't feel sorry for myself as I went to more positive thoughts when all these losses occurred first to a participant in a Integrity Workshop... where like a deuce handed over clear Title and took a Promissory Note for payment ... He was on the Board of Realtors here... the swindler that is and
head of ethics. He resigned those positions the day before I signed the papers to execute his deal. And the company he presented me with had been formed in Delaware over the phone two days before the documents were signed. OF COURSE THIS ALL WAS FRAUD. When I tried to get a reporter interested so he could write up about this guy his investigation of him showed that he had been kicked out of Michigan for fraud. He also said I got off easy compared to what some other people had done to them. He is still around. Never set food inside a jail but his rap sheet on the Internet is a sight.

AND the builder who took me is in prison as is the person to whom the money went to on a recommendation from the financial advisor. I almost got to go to NYC to testify against him.But those sentences.. Five years in a country club for all that money. THAT is not justice. AND druggies can get life sentences ? Where is justice ?

The next hundred thousand was a financial advisor.

The five hundred thousand was a Madoff Ponzi scheme and I had lots of friends who put a few hundred thousand in and a few are gone now with no payout at all. This one has been in litigation as I said since 1988...

All of these were maybe prompted by my own greed or need to
make good interest as that was the big touting sell...
9 % a year on five hundred thousand and I might have been able to afford a Mercedes... convertible. Once a dream but I have put aside childish ambitions. Now I just want to stay healthy and live a little longer...and have good friends on cyberspace like some of you here on this board. Comforting and thank you for pointing out the injustices that do occur in our country.

I have survived and live comfortably but I could be in that tax bracket that gets those tax breaks had all this not happened. All and all one million two hundred thousand I lost and as an aside. There are more con men in Florida than
roaches and we have a plethora of them.
