10 year yield ticking up, USD ticking up, Ireland, Spain, Portugal, etc., ticking down, ergo, the Mr. Bigs of the globe are doing a safe haven trade, ergo gold gets hammered.

QE2 now old hat, old news, discounted.

Every time the USD needs a bit of support, it seems that the financial media trot out the latest PIIG in trouble for a good but temporary lambasting. If I were conspiratorially minded, I am not, I would suggest manipulation.

The more they dump treasuries....the more ben will PRINT. No way out, IMO. PRINT until we blow up.
