I invest in the open end developing markets fund but I have been wondering if in this case he is worth the high fund cost (close to 2% never mind the load fee). I will not add to the position but I am seriously considering reassessing my position next year (this year is a bit late they already declared their long/short term capital gains for the year) Another negative is the short term capital gains tend to be large because he invests a lot in high yield fixed income securities and preferred stocks.
