First lets make clear what I said and not what you said I said.

I said "Liberals intrude on my freedom far more than the religious"

I don't know what your reference to imaginary friends refers to.

Liberal Regulation of Thought - Hate crimes. It is ridiculous to prosecute someone based on what they think. If you kill someone you kill someone that fact that is was motivated by racial hatred, religious hatred makes no difference than if it was motivated by personal hatred or done at random. So the only reason that liberals want hate crime legislation is their belief that it is somehow more immoral to kill someone solely on their race, etc. than out of personal hatred. I don't believe that at all. Now you might say why do you care? Are you a hater? I care because I believe it to be a dangerous precedent. For example, already some extremists have suggested that "global warming denial" should be a crime. You may like that direction I don't.

McCain/Feingold was the worst deprivation of free speech in my lifetime. the most important speech is political free speech and yet that is precisely what McCain Feingold regulated. At least the Supreme Court gutted it most egregious provisions.

Food = perhaps you haven't noticed that various cities are passing rules prohibiting or limiting salt content, trans fat content, etc. None of your damn business what I eat.

I would be interested in how you think your freedoms have been limited by religious groups. I am not a particularly religious person, but I don't find that they have been successful at forcing me to follow their views.
