I like the announcement by Ken. I have two opinions though. I for one think the only way you get recognized is by talking yourself up. I think he is doing great giving some hype. the only negative is that they now have to back it up with sales. You could have the greatest product in the world, but if it is not selling it won't make a difference. Ken is showing he is a strong leader, and that is what it takes to run a succesful company and turn them around. Look at Lou Gertsner. he took control of IBM and the shareholders are thanking him all the wya to the bank.

What Ancor just said does not diminish Brocade's capability on having these functions. It does, however, diminish Brocade's 'apparent claim' that they were the only one who had them. The truth is Ancor had them all along, just didn't think it was such a big deal. It is like it is standard option for a BMW to have cruise control and anti-lock brakes plus a lot more.
