Let me add a bit on on the ATRM warning that might be relevant to the the analog space in general. Even though they're a very small fry they sell test handlers to most of the analog players though I don't think they do business with TXN.

The fact that TXN is not a customer might be further indication that some analog chip makers may be seeing particular problems going forward due to competition with TXN's big new 300mm fab as that is expected to turn out big numbers of analog chips and has been the reason given for downgrades for a number of analog chip competitors of TI. When you combine that with this expected soft patch it might be something to watch out for.

Below the link is the part of the ATRM PR that is relevant to the sector in general as opposed to the company specific issue:

Aetrium Incorporated (Nasdaq:ATRM) today announced that it
expects its revenues for the fourth quarter ending on December 31, 2010 will be substantially
below its earlier internal projections. The company now expects revenues of approximately $2.0
million for the quarter as compared to $5.0 million in its most recent quarter and $2.7 million in
its quarter ended December 31, 2009.
“The anticipated sharp decrease in our revenue is a result of two separate and very singular
reasons,” said John Pollock, president and chief operating officer of the company. “The first is
reduced or delayed bookings from some of our customers as they adjusted their capital outlays to
reflect a softer demand for their products from their customers. There has been growing
speculation within the industry that a short pause in industry growth would take place in late 2010
and early 2011. A clear majority of semiconductor companies who have released third quarter
results are forecasting flat to declining revenues in the fourth quarter. As a result of the
anticipated slowdown in growth, our customers are reacting ever more cautiously towards the
addition of new capacity. We expect the industry correction will work itself out during the current
quarter and the first quarter of 2011...

"PC's and LCD TVs have been weak but I thought analog might be OK."

I wonder how many with money to spend on a 2nd or 3rd LDC HDTV are like me, waiting for the dust to settle on 3D so we don't end up with $3000 worth of "Betamax gear" ($5,000 if you add in the new receiver I need) that won't work with some different 3D standard. With so little 3D programming, there is no urgency to make a decision other than want of the new set or a receiver that has a flaky channel.

Major survey on iPad use. Note there's a place to click where it will go through the results of all 18 questions. The results are reasonably consistent with my own iPad experience:
