Wasn't the dividend: The dividend is payable on October 27, 2010 to common shareholders of record as of September 28, 2010, with an ex-dividend date of September 24, 2010. My guess is with the double avg. vol., probably floating some shares from their offering: 9-Nov-2010 Entry into a Material Definitive AgreementItem 1.01. Entry into a Material Definitive Agreement. On November 8, 2010, American Capital Agency Corp. (the "Company") entered into a Sales Agreement (the "Sales Agreement") with Cantor Fitzgerald & Co. Under the terms of the Sales Agreement, the Company may offer and sell up to 15,000,000 shares of its common stock, par value $0.01 per share (the "Shares") from time to time through Cantor Fitzgerald & Co., acting as agent and/or principal.
