Unfortunately, the things you used as examples are bipartisan- and have people who believe they are "conservatives", or at least "not liberals" attached to them. The fact that you might define anyone who doesn't think like you as "not conservative" doesn't make it that way for the rest of the world.

As to eating many cities are restriction many foods. new York and Baltimore restrict trans fats in restaurants.

Hey, you can eat rat poison if you want. You are wandering way into the bushes if you are using trans fat as an example. When conservatives use this strained thinking - they lose all my support. Trans fats? geeez.
