Are there multiple layers of CDOs etc., written on the Irish assets, and held by German banks, that would be upset by any kind of default or haircut by the Irish banks?

You would have to think it's the derivatives
being held by the banks. Also consider the
leverage they held, maybe 40-1. All the assets
were are in a rarefied state. -ng-

Once someone takes a haircut would'nt
they all have to take one? Banks don't
want that.
