JNPR CC call was almost a month ago. CSCO mentioned that the weakness is recent so JNPR may not have seen it at this point.
CSCO CEO Chambers is also known to sandbag quite a bit, i think his tone during the last few CC was more cautious than the street expected as well.

Well it's just speculation on my part. CSCO in the past was not know to recede market share too easily. Folks here do have a good point that CSCO may be an analyst darling and has some downside for that very reason.

One of the reasons Cisco cited is the slow growth in cable - an area they are exposed to thanks to the Scientific Atlanta acquisition. I don't know if JNPR has the same exposure.
