E-mailed my new congressman (Mark Kirk) my thoughts on the health care waiver issue. As an Illinois resident I'm really expecting a form reply expressing appreciation of my interest in government. I'm further expecting to be on the congressman's e-mail list and to get every self congratulatory press release his staff comes up with. He is a rare Republican (here in upstate Illinois), maybe I will be pleasantly surprised. ARS Edit: Just got the message that sending the e-mail to said congressman was aborted. No explanation as to why. I assume the address on the site you posted is not correct. Or something else is going on. Oh well.
