no particular guess on timing because how fast it all happens is not just about what happens in china, but has to do with what happens in usa i know about china leadership fears and motivations i have less on usa leadership worries and inclinations usa leadership doesn't seem to be worried and is inclined to kick can down the road but that view may not be 100% spot on even if close enough to matter to +/- 15-30 years to cross-over time estimate in real terms team usa would be exceedingly fortunate to come out of the spiral down with a usd 4 tril gdp in current dollar terms
