Why do take an exponential factor like growth rate and apply it in a linear fashion as a multiplier? Does that give a "close enough" calculation within some limited range of rates? If I understood it more, maybe I could use it.

CSCO - ... At a 12% growth rate (They're still predicting 12-17%)

I realize we've been in recession last couple of years, but still it's worth mentioning that CSCO has not grown income at all for 3 years running. I'd be hesitant to predict 12% growth rate going forward.

FWIW joined the CSCO party during this morning's down draft. The company is still the 900 pound gorilla in the space, has a great balance sheet, and is way oversold, all IMHO.
