Subsidies do increase the deficit, but I was not aware that you were concerned about it. It does help small farmers but the majority goes to large farmers or people like Scotti Pippen... It does help the economy. I am not for subsidies...so if you are not for farmer welfare, why do you support most every other kind? How about all the permanent disability that many alcoholics receive and yet they go on camping trips and ride their hogs cross country...do you support that? Or all the kids in high school that are completely aware of programs and can talk about all the permanent aid they and they parents get? Have you been to a school recently? It is like a convention ground for social welfare and fraud.
