Hi Ann: Thanks for your comments. I liked the way you took each theme and addressed it. Helped to clarify the message.

Actually, if you think about it, every time you buy or sell a stock, you are essentially timing the market or timing something.
Even if you have to sell to raise cash for an emergency...it's that rainy day time.

The key is to pay close attention to market trends and try and follow the historic cyclical and rotational trends that are composed within the business and Presidential cycles. Biz cycle is not dead, this is a two term Presidency, hence elongated expansion and departure from the norm. Still many intra-cycle trends and tendencies still conforming to normal cyclical pattern with Autos waxing and waning according to hot or cool economic statistics and interest rate trends etc.
