Callous? I don't think so. I never said I wanted GM liquidated. What I'm pointing out is that without government assistance, bankruptcy would have busted the unions, and allowed GM to get back into business without the burden of it's impossible to sustain retirement programs, and overpaid workers. That would have been more fair to the rest of the country, and possibly put them back on the path to profitability sooner and certainly in a more sustainable way, IMO. Pray tell.....how would screwing the little guy whose worked his ass off on the assembly line for decades......a grim job if ever there was one..........help the rest of the country? "What do you call it when you twist facts to suit your ideology?" And what "ideology" do you think that is? You tell me.
