I seconded that. I didn't elaborate any further because I was busy mid-day yesterday.

I though about going much low than warranted as the purge would ravaged the economy -until is totally unwound- and then would return to natural size.

The purge:
The big purge is not going to be parking all the jet planes in Mojave desert, airport empties and such. It is more a period of adaptation.

It will happen at the atomic level. Most on consumption.

Families will cut goodies for the children and for themselves: Superfluos things, like simming lessons, adults' gym, holiday trips,

Groceries is always a target as you can always spend less if you are careful.

As this is happening, local government cuts services to keep the employees paid.

Maintenance is stretched. One area of cutting is maintenance. Infrastructure will show the years as maintenance is an area which where savings are achieved.

House size. People will shrink their houses dramatically to cut costs. Another savings will come from moving farther to pay less rent. Spending a little more time on the road to live where is cheaper.

Keeping electro-electronics longer. Poeple will stick with TV sets, mobile phones, computers, refrigerators, cooking stoves much longer.

Same applies to furniture.
