Keeping fully invested seems detrimental when there is a nice pullback. As a former trader, you can surely appreciate the difference though, as opposed to those times that the market was going against your positions. ( assuming that ever happened? )

I saw the futures early last evening, and confirmed this morning, there was a decent down move coming. Of course these days we never know how long any move lasts.

Had my regular two week breakfast date with an old friend this morning, and I didn't think about the market once. Coming home I saw every stock in my IRA is red. Checked the news and found the machine is still running fine.

First decent pull back since I invested my sister and her husbands ports. As of right now, he is -.5%, she is +.05%, not counting the few dividends that have come in so far. Guess I'll find out if they are really on board or not if this continues a while.
