State retirees on pensions are going to go the way of the Pension Benefit guarantee fund.

To the degree that obligations are not funded - that will be the size of the haircut to take on your pension - much like airline pilots had.

It will be a huge liability at reduced obligations.

retirees will be frozen for fear of losing what isn't there.
