BB Shorting a brokerage stock I think is the way to go (would have to think a bit more carefully to do it mayself though). In any event, thanks to your input you gave me, and the news on financial stock, I just liquidated my position in the fidelity select brokerage fund (I liquidated yesterday my stake in the select regional banks).
These two mutual funds have done amazingly well this (and precious) year. So I thought the time to take the profits came! Your input was BERY BERY BERY timely.

You are probably wondering why I held these two positions. Well, I must admit I can't read financial statements for financial institutions/insurance companies wisely enough to make my own decisions. Yet, I saw the tremendous potential of these two industries so I went the select way. .

Does any one know where can I find help in quikly learning how to analyze these stocks?

Pancho

Dare I say it???

I cannot resist.
You may want to go over to the ZITL thread and give a certain long a bit of a ribbing. It is not that he isn't getting a thorough one already, but he just won't let anything slide.

I am sure quite a few people on this thread can testify that what I am saying is true.
