"Today China has not only a more vigorous economy, but actually a better functioning government than the United States

Probably because their leaders have less Marxist leanings than the current US leadership. The Marxists that Soros supports no less. Of course, for the total power grab he is playing for, he's got to come from the left. The extreme right already has the lead on tyranny by Corporatocracy.

So what?

Authoritarian ("command-driven" political systems...) *can* and frequently ARE more "efficient" (often at making quick decisions, or in allocating resources to a problem) then the messy process of governance that one typically sees in functioning Democracies.

Ain't no harm in pointing out the utterly obvious. (The same sort of things were in evidence with the Nazis and Soviets and Japanese Military Autocracy during World War II....)

Certainly doesn't MEAN that Authoritarian command-driven systems are "better" then Democracies though, LOL!

(Or that they don't have PLENTY of unique flaws and fleas of their very OWN when compared to Democracies.)

I'm with Churchill on this one!

"Democracy is the worst form of government on Earth, except for all the others!"
