Even if we missed the ta signals on apm, we should have sold after the first piece of bad news -- the WDC announcement on Sept. 29. Bad news is usually followed by more bad news. I didn't sell then probably because I was hoping more than I was thinking, and also it was painful to take that first big hit. It was more painful, though, to take the second, the third, etc.

And if we missed selling on the WDC announcement, there was the heavy put option action the week of earnings. I missed that opportunity too.

Tom,

It was first week of September to be exact when there was a serious signs of trend reversal for APM. Please refer back to post#3135 from this thread if you like some history.

PS: Each rally ends with a lower high in downtrend and vice versa.
