The solution of course is to force the wages to come up to a point Americans will take the jobs. That is what capitalism is all about.

Well actually, that is what trade unionism is all about, but I suppose that too is an artifact of capitalism.

You an advocate of farm worker unions, a Chavez sympathizer, or are these just words?

If they have children, they have a place to live. That implies property tax, at least in Calif. They may pay the prop tax to the landlord, but then he passes it on. Government takes SS & Medicare out B4 they get paid; also income tax, and, maybe, state disability insurance. Unless they work for cash, they get the same minimum wage that the rest of us do, so, if they can't afford health insurance, how can a McDonalds clerk? Obviously we need to go to a living wage instead of a minimum wage. Meta's unions be a good start, too.
