I can't understand why liberals are sympathetic towards illegal immigrants. I can't understand why conservatives prefer to demonize populations instead of voting for actual, workable, legal remedies for problems. Maybe its really just about getting elected.

I'm in favor of replacing the fences with aerial drones (fence is bad for wildlife migration) and blasting anything with 2 legs crossing the border; one leg, too, altho 2 legs and 2 wings gets a pass. Use ground penetrating radar to find tunnels and pump gas into them. If you can't control your border, you ain't much of a country. Putting out water stations in the desert should be prosecuted as aiding and abetting. So much for sympathy.

I can't understand why liberals are sympathetic towards illegal immigrants. They are the main reason why poor Americans can't find decent jobs. That's complete hogwash. How do you lay the blame on someone so energetic - or desperate - that they are willing to leave their homeland and go into a country illegally to just WORK. That is admirable to my thinking. What is slimy and disgusting is for employers to willingly break their own countries laws for the sake of profits. Or for people to be so damn lazy - think Meg Whitman - that they are willing to break the law to get an illegal immigrant to wash their dirty underwear. These people want you the taxpayer to pick up some of the cost for employing these illegals. .......And then they bitch about taxes being too high. And wonder why we have a debt problem.
