JLA, when you reduce revenue, you increase the deficit. When you increase revenue, you reduce the deficit. Clinton proved that. You are the moron!

It is a facile conclusion to state that tax cuts reduce revenue. That is only true if the tax base remains static. But tax reductions tend to have a stimulative effect and therefore increases the tax base. Where the government may get a smaller percentage in tax revenue, they get more actual tax dollars.

This is how Clinton was able to show positive economic numbers. Since we were in an economic boom, there was more income and more transactions and therefore more tax revenue. It wasn't through any brilliant economic planning on his part.

Kenneth, You like all your other partisan lemmings are so programmed that you forget the simple fact that a reduction in wasteful gov't spending reduces the deficit as well.

Dumbfukk4:

Letting people keep more of their own money is not "reducing revenue". It was not the government's money to begin with.

Try not to sound like such a complete jackass for a change.
