Brazil bleeds money, pensions for its civil servants. A class that, no matter the economic situation, they take their pound of flesh.

I voted with my feet. 1976 I discovered the system was a sham

Since then: I avoid paying taxes. Pay for my pension myself with my own savings.

Social Security and the welfare state must be dealt a blow.

It creates a false sense of security on the ignorant.

The vagabond find a way to be paid not to work.

Doctors get rich since their are mechanisms through which people support a claim that he cannot work.

Entitlement-countries like Canada attracts lot os people.
If one count the passport holders, Canadian population is much bigger.

Many people use Canada's passports as a refuge to go if things get tough.

I have a Lebanese friend, who, for a long time tried to migrate to Canada.

He did not know Canada at all. Neither society nor economy. Nada!

He gest his visa. Moves there. Gets a job. Cannot adapt. Writes to me that he count the months to get his residence, then move out and live as contractor.

I've been asking ever since: what is the benefit Canada gets from a stint-migrant there and granting residence?
