I'm with you on that one. I take a sweat shirt to my Dentist's office. Actually they've raised the temperature but I'm so afraid of sitting there freezing for an hour or two I always take my sweatshirt.

Also, during the energy embargo all the lights on office buildings were turned off at night. Last I looked downtown LA was lit up all night long.

The future is inevitably going to shrink our living spaces and energy use. Which is not a bad thing if we do it right. Stereos for example, for most people can be shrunken. Flat screen TVs take up a lot less room.
