I have an idea to write some trading diary software, It will be in VB with an Access Database. I plan on entering all the obvious data for each trade including Technical justification, as well as order type, a running list of stop levels, as well as a running list of timestamped notes describing technical justification for each stage of the trade. Part of the trade initiations will be price objective and objective date. The close of each trade would contain observations as well.

Perhaps a notebook would do just as well, but this is the kind of information that could be very valuable over time. And would provide an easy way to evaluate a money management strategy.

Maybe someone has seen something like this to save me a lot of hours?

Regards,

Bruce
