Hi all,

Here's a receipt number data point for the Tyson's Corner RFC:

10/30/97, 8:17 PM. Receipt number 30793.

My mom took a "surprise weekend" trip on Western Pacific and ended up going to the D.C. area for the last weekend in October. I not-so-subtly suggested she visit the Tyson's RFC for dinner one evening :-) She liked it. Said it was a bit too noisy for quiet conversation, but otherwise fun. She said her first grade students would love the place. She had the Maya Pastalaya and liked it. I don't remember if she said she had a long wait, but it must have been short enough to not be worth mentioning.

Hoping for a little less snow in Denver and a lot more RAIN,

NP Tamagotchi

Hi Toby,

Glad to hear you're back online and doing well. I'd thought I'd posted you last week regarding table turns but somehow that one seems to have gotten lost in the Bermuda Triangle. At any rate between your visit and mine RAIN seems to be averaging around 700 table turns a day, somewhat off it's earlier pace. However I understand that there's been a number of banquet type events where as much as the whole lower table area has been reserved for one party. We may be talking some big bucks coming in that way. I don't think we'll be able to get a remotely accurate "revenue per receipt estimate" until the 4th Q is over. Thus it's imperative that one of us gets a receipt number very close to the end of the quarter. Even without the banquets, I'd raise the estimate over $50. The RAIN says the average per person is $13 I believe that the average check is for a least a party of three. That's a minimum of $39 restaurant revenue per check. With retail revs at River North being 30% of total revs, that brings the total revs per receipt to be more like $56. With large parties reserving RAIN on a regular basis that number could be considerably higher.

Say hi to Jan from all of us. (We're all doing fine here by the way)

Warm regards,
Dennis
