Technology Stocks : Cymer (CYMI) -- Ignore unavailable to you. Want to Upgrade?

Guys: The behavior of the tech market right now is similar to the
summer of '96-wholesale slaughter. The indiscriminate selling
is just amateur portfolio managers (bull market genius types)
selling to book what meager profits they have left in the stocks.
Don't waste your time staring at the screen worrying about every
1/8 move on CYMI or other techs. Technology is the place to be,
regardless of a possible Asian slowdown. Do your homework
and try to relax...

Specialist,

I've got to admire your optimism. I hope your right, because I intend to stand firm also. I'm probably averaged much lower than you, so I would be overjoyed by a much more modest scenario.

Specialist:

I couldn't remember seeing one of your posts in a while and I would
appreciate it a great deal if you could comment on post# 11295 made by Jess Beltz today. Specifically with respect to Jess' point:

"All of the "rosy" profits and eps forecasts fail to account for the fact that this technology may be an absolute bitch to implement on the factory floor."

In listening to the last CC, Akins admitted that there would be difficulties encountered in implementation of this technology, but he also noted that this was to be expected and that none of these difficulties would be insurmountable.

I greatly respect your knowledge and your input with respect to this specific point.

Doug
