Preet Bharara seems to be an ambitious type following the path of Rudy Guiliani, Eliott Spitzer, and Andrew Cuomo - who all played the tough prosecutors to set themselves up for future positions of Governors or Mayor of New York. If the pattern is similar, he stands for Attorney General next and maybe Governor in the next decade. Of course there are still many hurdles. With two governors of Punjabi-Indian origin already (in Louisiana and South Carolina), I hope that the governor elections in next two decades do not start looking like National Spelling bee in the last two.
