I wouldn't mind the spending so much if it actually made us more competitive in the global marketplace. There are some economic and strategic benefits to keeping GM alive. But like Jim said, without solving the underlying causes of the bankruptcy, such as high labor and pension costs, GM might find itself in the same situation down the road. Tenchusatsu
