Hank,

What is your average short position price. My guess is $ 85
for the average cost of your short position in DELL.

I base this on your dollar cost averaging method of shorting
every ten points or so.

Jim

Hank , re. decline in Dell
The reason is the same one that has infected first the DRAM market , then the MPU market and disk drive market . Fierce competition increases unit sales , but because unit prices are under price pressure it means that both revenues and profits plummet .
This can be seen by recent headlines such as "Pentium II plunges to $2000 mark " and "Sub $1000 PC market takes off"
Compaq , IBM , NEC , Gateway are all after market share and determined to stop Dell's increase in sales ,
Brian
