Try using Datek Online. $9.99 up to 5000 shares and they go through Island system always, unless marketable and then they go into SOES.........its damn fast. 3 second fills many times, although there are some days when it slows a bit.They had alot of bugs originally but lately they have been incredible...best of luck....;^) (p.s. No , I dont work for datek, just trade through them)

Mark, If you've got the capital to trade in blocks of 5000 shares then you should definitely want access to the best possible fill. A 1/16th of a point improvement x 5000 equals $ 312.50. As far as being expected to sit and trade in any market the last time I visited a Block or any other Daytrading firm I didn't see and leg shackles or handcuffs at any of the trading stations. Come to think of it I didn't see an armed gaurds at the front doors either. Take some personal responsibility and stop trading when its going against you. Take time and evaluate what you are doing and focus on making the right decisions. If the office that you are trading at uses Gestapo tactics to make you trade, get up and take your business elsewhere. I hope you don't take this personally but there are a thousand different ways to trade in this market. Some people pay for full brokerage service, others want the $ 9.99 per trade and believe it or not some people actually like coming to a Daytrading office to use the SOES, SNET, TNTO, ISLD executions. I hope you find a way to execute your orders that fits your criteria and is successful for you. We are all looking for that magic system to plop in our laps and it isn't going to. Enough soapbox.
