Actually, I think along the same lines. Here is a post I put on the TPII thread...

An excerpt from the press release...

"...and demonstrates TPI's widening Y2K expertise to include not just the
traditional Information Technology data and application sector but, also the
embedded systems sector most often associated with manufacturers...."

Hummm, I have been a lurker on this thread ever since the BMR agreement... I own
both TPI and Topro and have great hopes for Topro (and growing hopes for TPI)I
think that it might not be a bad idea to see TPI get together with Topro to share
expertise. The Topro CD is a great product and they really have a solid foundation in
the plant-floor (read embedded) market. TPI seems to be an interesting company in
the migration from legacy to Client/Server enviornments. However, they don't have the
background to, IMHO, tackle the embedded stuff properly. Maybe Topro could help
leverage the AS400 stuff if TPI hands off the embedded stuff...

I just want people to keep on their collective toes.

What really burns me (cheryl) is the apparent lack of concern and understanding, by those who should know better, of just how serious this Y2K issue really is...

really rubs my rhubarb (sp?)
