DC is a company town -- citizens need to vote them out on a regular basis in order to retain some control of the corruption and wasteful job patronage.

Term limits would be ideal for the greater good of the nation, but once elected it would take politicians w/integrity to enact them. That is the scarcest commodity of all in the federal gov.

If earmarks were banned how could anyone get an earmark. If anyone got an earmark then I would guess earmarks were not actually banned. Other wise that person could be arrested for being in possession of a banned substance. Could they not?
