Roger, IMO I know I am not the one driving your car or anyone else's but I agree about extending the short. However the reason for my message [which I must warn everyone contains a risky piece of advice] is to try to avoid the mistake of covering a short too soon in this market environment. Be patient, let the short play out, hold!!!.

Recent dangerous shorts I blew were INTC covered at 85 5/8, and WLA covered at 146 (look were they are today!). But the excuse is I covered before grey Monday, I really thought then this market was going to reach Japan proportions.

The upside risk, IMO, is no longer that great. Of course, if you have a tremendous drop in price you can't resist!... then cover! But do not hesitate to short the stock again [even at an opportunity loss!] if you feel the thing will keep on falling like a rock.
