receive their condescending remark? It really doesn't make sense.

Perhaps Barbara is anticipating Jeb entering the race and she hopes Palin stays in Alaska so as to not give him competition.

Ann, you are right. Barbara Bush often was caustic even when supporting Repubican candidates.

To her credit she gave us George W. Bush #2 who was and is one tough hombre----------diametrically opposite to his father.

And, yes Sarah Palin handled her remarks well. Perhaps, Barbara's hormones were out of kilter that day.
