Scott, The release looks good, although I notice that operating profit is down from the previous quarter. You must find the following statement encouraging:

"John Pollock noted that, in addition to its Visual Communications
business, Electrohome's investment in Baton on November 10 had a market value of $175 million versus overall market capitalization of Electrohome of $109 million. ''We are surprised by the continuing gap between the Electrohome/Baton share price and are considering a number of alternatives to address this issue.''"

By the way, that Nam Tai really took a dive the other day, despite releasing very strong earnings. I gather that the market doubts that they can be sustained. Guess that I can't win all the time :-(

Scott,

Press Release. Check the last bit. Each share of Electrohome has the equivalent of $19 of BNB. They could hardly say this any clearer. Market reaction - no trades today!

I guess EH management is a little miffed at giving up their income stream from the TV stations in return for a bunch of paper that is being discounted heavily in EH's value. I wouldn't totally give up on the idea that they would declare a dividend of .875 (or whatever) BNB shares per share of EH except that that would really tank the share price of EH. It'll be interesting to see what they do, but they seem quite impatient and sound like they will do something sooner rather than later.

I guess we'd all like to see the share price at $20 or better, eh <g>?

Stu.
