<<...since I'm still holding S3 the lawsuit will do me more harm
then good.>> Maybe, maybe not.

The average recompense according to a study of 275 cases (CA based I beleive), is about 20% of the total loss, or about 14% of the loss for the shareholder. (attorneys get about 28-30%, shareholders about 70-72%)

An example. You bought at 14. Today's price is 7, and you sold today, or the case was being argued today in court. Loss is 7. If class action is successsful, you get $1.00.

To breakeven, the stock would have to appreciate from 7, to 8. Will it? Maybe. Maybe not.

I suggest shareholders, past and present, at least talk to legal experts, as the above example is cusrory at best, although based on several conversations with class action attorneys.

On a few lawsuits the class period is from 1996. On a couple it is July, 1996. On another, it is from January of 1997, and there are others. Does one need to sell now, or hold? As I understand it, you can sell or hold. However, I know I've gotten a glance of at least one person's post who said we need to sell now to take advantage of the lawsuits. No reasoning was given.
I am thinking it would be better to sell now before it goes down to $3 as some have suggested. I have decided to sell. If some still think S3 might be worth a buy for the long run, I think there are much, much, much better places to place your money. I made the mistake of sticking it our already. Everything felt wrong for no reason. I should have known that some group out there knew something. A stock doesn't go down for no reason. AAAhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!! I still get pissed off thinking about it. The hours I spent on this stupid company, and all that money.
