<Elmer , are you an investor or someone that has fallen in love with
your favourite stock ?>

Oh probably yes to both, but I have been an AMD investor as well. I will likely be again once AMD gets down around $12 again, or perhaps a little lower. I prefer to think of myself as a defender of truth.
The false information spread here needs correction. If you only
heard from The AMD boys then you would have a pretty distorted view.
The AMD employes who post here are truely in a state of denial and
they are misleading investors. Assuming you are an AMD investor, it is in your best interests to know that the K6 has serious bugs. Bugs
that can bring down a system running perfectly legal code. Listening to the AMD employes you would think Intel is the only one who has bugs. It is also in your best interest to know where AMD's process technology stands relative to other companies. The AMD employes don't want you to know they are a full generation behind Intel. You have a right to know that and I am grateful that Yousef and Paul can speak to that issue, AMD certainly won't tell you. In addition do you think the AMD apologists here will be honest with you regarding ongoing yield problems? How many times have you heard those guys state here that the yields are fine now, not to worry? How many times have they told you that socket7 has lots of life left? Do you think they are going to admit it's hopelessly out of date? They're feeding you a line of BS Brian and thank goodness Paul, Yousef and perhaps occasionally I can help clear the air. Yes I think you should be grateful for the true humanitarians who give of themselves here to keep you informed.

Altruisticly Yours,

EP
