Interesting but I feel HK stands alone in their Global Position of Finance and PRC/CPC are astutely aware of this and take great pride in same as well as it being a Window on the Global Financial scene of Planet....

Taiwan also stands alone but in a historical context...

One's outcome does not significantly effect the other, IMO
