Its interesting how the process of passing the Patriot Act seems so similar to the passage of the health care bill last March. No congress can ever be given the opportunity to read and understand a bill anymore.

also notice that the government has no problem profiling and throwing people in jail based on a profile alone. publicly, though, they say they don't profile, so they need to get inside the pants of our children, our wives, our grandmothers and everyone else. dog training. pure and simple. the government is opaque. the people have to be transparent. the laws apply to the people. the government and those who have captured it don't have to follow any laws.
