>>Did you expect the FBI to give that sociopath a real bomb?<<

they gave the 1993 WTC bombers a real bomb!

lectlaw.com

they dine with al qaeda leaders at the pentagon!

examiner.com

they (US intelligence, anyway) escorted the visa-less and passport-less underwear bomber onto the plane - and perhaps past security, too!

thecable.foreignpolicy.com

haskellfamily.blogspot.com

i was actually a bit surprised they didn't arm this guy with a real bomb and then just omit the fact that they were involved... you know, like timothy mcvey and crew.

you said:

"There would have been horrible terror and a great loss of life in Portland if they hadn't."

I'm interested in how you surmise that when the "authorities" said this:

“The bomb was an elaborate fake supplied by the [FBI] agents and the public was never in danger, authorities said.” The teenager was supplied with a fake bomb and a fake detonator.

----

You made that statement above which is completely false.
